Description: The clove tree is an evergreen, reaching up to 8-12 meters, with large leaves and clustered flowers.

History: Clove has been used for many years in Chinese and Ayurdervic medicine,

dentistry western herbalism as a pain killer.

Blends Well With: Allspice, Bay Bergamot, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Geranium, Ginger,

Grapefruit, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Palmarosa, Rose, Sandalwood, Vanilla,

Ylang-ylang

Safety Information: May be a dermal and mucous membrane irritant. Avoid use with

alcoholism, hemophilia, prostatic cancer, kidney and liver problems, and if taking

anticoagulants. Do not take any essential oils internally without consultation from a

qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using. Do not apply undiluted essential oils,

absolutes, CO2s or other concentrated essences onto the skin. If you are pregnant,

epileptic, have liver damage, have cancer, or have any other medical problem, use
